AskAway: Post-Secondary Virtual Reference InitiativeOverview
AskAway is a provincial post-secondary virtual reference service maintained by BC ELN and its partner libraries. Funding for the post-secondary service has been provided by BCcampus and participating BC post-secondary libraries. Staffing for the service is provided by the participating libraries.Vision & Mandate
The Post-Secondary Virtual Reference is intended for all learners, educators and researchers at all participating post-secondary institutions in BC. Users will access the service from access points on each participating institution's website. We are open to all questions, but primarily we expect to help learners with course-related research tasks e.g. finding books, journals, articles, etc. to write assignments and term papers. We emphasize teaching users to be self-sufficient researchers. More information about our service guidelines is available in the Service Guidelines, Policies, and Procedures document.Benefits and Responsibilities for Partner Libraries
