MARC records for Directory of Open Access Books

Thanks to Daniel Sifton of Vancouver Island University for this set of MARC records for the 750+ titles listed in the Directory of Open Access Books for free download.

Daniel notes that he grabbed the records with the MarcEdit OAI utility and did the edits/mods with a bit of regex, .csv, and the addition/delete options in MarcEdit. There were errors with the initial harvest that I had to contact the DOAB support people to rectify. They were very responsive.

If there are better records available, MARC records for other free collections, or other free collections in need of MARC records - let us know! This is on the agenda for BCCATS.
