Islandora Camp BC registration now open!
If you haven’t seen it elsewhere already, we are pleased to announce that Islandora Camp (iCampBC) registration is now open. http://islandora.ca/camps/bc2016
BC ELN is pleased to host iCampBC, which will take place at the SFU Harbour Centre, July 18-20. Early bird registration ends May 15, and institutions sending more than two people are eligible for a group discount.
Islandora Camp is a great way to get trained on administering an Islandora repository, with tracks for both admins and developers. It’s also a great way to connect with other Islandora users, talk about your projects, solve problems, and learn what other folks are doing.
More details can be found below in the message from the Islandora Foundation, and on the event webpage: http://islandora.ca/camps/bc2016. Please forward to others who may be interested in attending.
The Islandora Foundation is pleased to announce the details of Canadian Islandora Camp for 2016: iCampBC2, taking place in Vancouver, BC from July 18 - 20 and sponsored by the British Columbia Electronic Library Network. Early Bird registration is open until May 15th. There will also be an opportunity to win a free registration by entering our logo contest and designing the camp t-shirt.
We are calling for proposals from potential attendees to present about their Islandora sites, community projects, or other topics of interest to the digital repository community and Islandora.
